Did you know that Coach K has off-ice homework? Yes, he does. Coach K wants us all to do three sets of
ten crunches everyday. And not only that but he wants us to work on the achilles tendon stretch for 5 minutes
everyday. If you don't know how to do these exercises ask him at the next dryland session. Check the calendar
for the next dryland session - there will be 4 or 5 of them per week all summer long usually before or
after our ice time. Not to worry, coach K
will tailor the sessions for beginners and adults.
Skaters with national ambitions should attend as many sessions
as possible - it will provide a definite edge come race day.
